Gifts and Sins

The freest gift
That you’ll refuse.
My love.

The precious gift,
That you’ll misuse
My attention.

The sacred gift
That you’ll abuse
My trust.

The greatest sin
That you’ll excuse
My honesty.

The valued asset
That you’ll recuse
My loyalty.

The mortal sin
That you’ll peruse
My choice.

The shallow gift
That you’ll seduce
My admiration.

I dream vividly and view the world through the lens of optimism and opportunity while acknowledging the ink and shadows.
