Day 8: Graffiti

“I see everything/The colours of everything/ Over and over again” ~Electric Sarajevo Watercolours

I say it and I’m proud
I scream it so damn loud
They say it’s such a sin
When I wear it on my skin.

So I put it on the walls!
Splatter paint throughout the halls;
And then I get arrested
For the artwork I invested.

The open world is now my skin
No longer hidden far within;
Imagination in the world
My inner banner now unfurled.

No challenge is too great or small
None can resist my inner call
To be unique, to launch and fly
To stretch my paintings to the sky,

The only limit I observed
Remained the rules of being reserved;
And now I’ve popped the sealing cork
Who cares if quirk disguises dork?

Forbidden journeys, hue and lines
A hidden treasure I can mine;
Adapt all bleaken architecture
To potent verbiage of conjecture.

No challenge is too great or small
None can resist my inner call
To be unique, to launch and fly
To stretch my paintings to the sky.

I am artist, analyst, author, poet, composer, musician to name a few aspects of myself. A bit of a jack of trades, I dabble into many fields that encourage the blossom of imagination and allow me to channel my creativity. I dream vividly and view the world through the lens of optimism and opportunity while acknowledging the ink and shadows.
